The Messengers - The Messengers (2005)

When The Messengers formed in the fall of 2000, the immediate positive response that they received made it clear that they were filling a void long left empty in the modern punk scene. Initially, forming a socially conscious punk band in the mostly conservative midwestern city of Cincinnatti seemed like a lost cause. However, their mixture of aggressive guitar-driven rock and melody has managed to turn more than a few heads in a diverse crowd. I feel like we give people real rock and roll. says guitarist Don. The sound of The Messengers is a mixture of traditional rock and roll and early American and British punk.
